Sharnetta Harrigan has been a PTA since 2004 and is a member of the APTA. She achieved the Advanced Proficiency Pathway in Pediatrics in 2025. She graduated from the PTA program at Suny Orange, Middletown, NY. Since then she has acquired 10 consecutive years of experience in outpatient orthopedics with Access Physical Therapy and Wellness, 14 years in school-based pediatrics, 10 years in the homecare setting, and 4 years in the SNF setting at Emerson Health Center. She is licensed in NY, NJ, and CT. She has taught PTA I at Suny Orange Community College and understands how rigorous the course work for PTA students can be. Some students can benefit from extra academic support and PTA exam prep. This is why PTA Tutor was created.
PTA tutor is a tutoring service for physical therapy assistant students. We provide online private tutoring sessions for students who may be struggling in the PTA program and need academic support. We also provide mentoring to new grads and licensed PTA's who are looking to transition into a new or different setting. We are your physical therapist assistant tutor and NPTE tutor!
